B) Medical Education to Under Graduates, Post Graduates and Super Speciality PGs through Medical Colleges

C) Organ transplantation approvals:-
This is done by one Committee constituted by Govt. of Assam with Director of Medical Education, Assam as the Chairman of the Committee.
D) Compulsory Rural posting after completion of MBBS course /Resident Specialist Services by the Post PG Diploma/Degree candidates.
1. | Compulsory Rural Posting after completion of MBBS course. | After completion of MBBS course all the candidates have to do one year compulsory rural service or 5(five) years of state health service. |
2. | Resident Specialist Services by the Post PG Diploma/Degree candidates . | All the PG degree/diploma candidates in Assam medical colleges after completion of their course shall work in Secondary and Tertiary care government hospitals of Assam for a period of one year. |
E) NOC for passport & Permission to travel abroad
There is a committee formed by the State Govt. for scrutinization of the application forms and after scrutinization the application forms are forwarded to Govt.
The applicant has to furnish the application along with required documents to the Director of Medical Education. After scrutiny by the office of DME, the same are forwarded to the government.
